How can I be a successful interior designer?
In order to be a successful interior designer, you must pay attention to the set of components and skills and develop them in order to help you build your professional future.
First: You must show great attention to the smallest details, and this skill is one of the most important skills that you must pay attention to, as the slightest detail is very important in your professional life.
Second: You must be a social person and have the ability to deal with different sects and classes, as it is normal to deal periodically with workers, contractors, employers, service providers and customers, and each sect has a unique way of dealing with them. You must understand how you can communicate with each of them.
Third: You must be loving and constantly interested in provocation and many questions. Knowledge is one of your most important tools. An example of this is your knowledge of raw material prices, which gives you a competitive advantage and the ability to give the customer an accurate, updated daily price estimate of raw materials.
Fourth: Loving movement and not getting bored. As an engineer and decorator, the nature of your work makes it necessary for you to move frequently between projects and buying materials for construction and decoration. You must not get tired of that.
Fifth: Flexibility in dealing with clients. The client is the most important person for you. As an interior designer, there is nothing to prevent you from receiving client calls at late hours at night or meeting clients outside of normal working hours.
Sixth: Flexibility in dealing with workers and contractors, as workers and contractors are in one way or another your men. You must earn their approval and love, but on the other hand, love should not affect workflow and productivity.
