Flooring is one of the most important elements that must be paid attention to in the design and implementation of the house, as, for example, there are types of floors that heat the house and other types that heat the house, and there are types of natural and industrial floors.
There are 5 types of floors that you should know:
1- Ceramic
2- Porcelain
3- Marble
4- Granite
5- Parquet
6- HDF & HPL
Firstly, ceramics
Ceramic is one of the most common types and the easiest to choose, and it does not have many defects that are found in others, such as that it does not show signs of stains and is affected by water or moisture.
But on the other hand, there is something very dangerous in ceramics, which is that it causes a lot of slipperiness for the people of the house, and this problem can be reduced by choosing types of rough-textured ceramics, which we recommend using in the bathroom and kitchen.
Secondly, porcelain
It is the type that most exposes you to the risk of slipping, so we advise you to choose types that are rough in texture, but despite this serious defect, it is also the most widely used type currently because of its resistance to heat and that it is against scratching.
Also, there is a serious defect in porcelain that it disintegrates from the ground, due to the use of wrong materials in the installation process, as porcelain has its own material that must be used in the installation process.
Third, marble
Marble is a natural material, as it contains a lot of natural materials that give a wonderful shape and luster, and there are many shapes that give freedom of choice, and it is a long-term reliable material, but on the other hand, it has a high cost and has the ability to absorb liquids, which affects its life. default.
IV granite
Granite is also a natural material in origin. It is an igneous rock that is mostly used in stairs and kitchens in order to withstand both repeated movement and temperatures and resist scratches.
One of the most important features in the granite material is that the granite stone is the most natural stone that preserves its color, as compared to marble, for example, the life span of granite is twice that of marble, and this is due to the lack of pores in it.
Fifthly, the parquet
Parquet is the most popular material to use in bedrooms and living rooms, because it adds a kind of sophistication to the place.
But the parquet has a bad defect, which is cleanliness and preservation, because it needs special care, and it is not suitable for use in high-humidity places, as it is an enemy of water because it affects it and its life span.
